        Encounter

        Encounter arises from fleeting thoughts and moments that slip through the rush of daily life. Drawing becomes a way to wander between loss and remembrance. Yet if one lingers too long, searching for the perfect word, no mark ever lands—and that would be a pity. So it begins instead with wordplay and continuation, letting each element grow of its own accord. In this effort to say something—while often feeling unable to say it right—there are stretches of unease, but also moments of emptiness and ease that return quietly. Perhaps, then, each stroke can simply become the beginning of the next.

        「機遇」源於匆忙日常裡轉瞬即逝的思緒或片刻，因為繪畫得以在遺失與記取之間遊走，但若為了揀選最完美的字詞，遲遲一筆也沒落下，顯然是虧大了，不如就從接龍、補充開始，任由元素生長。在這個試著說點什麼、總覺得說不好的過程裡，大多時難熬，但空無與鬆弛的時刻卻也因而能被召回，那麼，何妨讓這次的塗抹成為下次的開始。
