        “The lush green grass on the slope reveals its state only when gently stirred by the wind or disturbed by other forces—much like the sense of internal agitation we perceive in contemporary painting. We become aware of the fluid and hybrid nature of sensory experience, entangled with other media such as photography, print, television, comics, or digital interfaces. How, then, does the artist construct a relationship with painting amid these conditions?”
